THOMAS KIRCHHOFF is principal of Kirchhoff & Associates Architects (K&AA). Raised in Philadelphia, Tom graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Architecture

Recognized for creativity in a variety of styles, he is best known for a strong command of classical design principles. Tom has earned numerous awards for original designs as well as historic restorations.

Tom is a licensed architect in Florida and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.

Tom currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and The Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.

Timo Hoefs

Born in Ludwigsburg, Germany, and raised in Birmingham, Michigan, Timo Hoefs developed a passion for art and architecture early in life. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Miami, where he refined his expertise in pencil and watercolor renderings.

Since joining Kirchhoff & Associates in 2012, Timo has cultivated a deep enthusiasm for classical design in high-end residential architecture. As a licensed architect, he has overseen a notable portfolio of projects ranging from luxury condo renovations to new residences and expansive family estates throughout Florida.

Carlos Bruderer

CARLOS BRUDERER earned a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and a Master in Architecture from Rice University. A licensed architect, he joined the firm in 2005 as a project manager and leads our team in all aspects of projects from the construction documents phase through completion.

Jill Bruderer, NCARB

Originally from South Florida, Jill Bruderer attended Rice University in Houston, Texas. She received both a Bachelor of Arts (Art History, Art and Architectural History) and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rice. A licensed architect and NCARB certificate holder, she joined the firm in 2013. She is generally responsible for interior architecture, detailing and materials section.

Robert Pilla

ROBERT PILLA was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Stuart, Florida in 1972. He graduated from the University of Miami with a Professional degree in Architecture in 1992, followed up with a Master’s Degree from Notre Dame in 1996. A licensed architect, Robert has been with Kirchhoff & Associates since 2016.

ALEJANDRA ACKERMAN grew up as an expat across different continents sparking her appreciation and love for architecture at an early age. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Architecture and Art History and started her professional career at the office of Eric J Smith and David Easton in New York City. Her professional experience includes high end residential, hospitality, and interiors having practiced in architectural firms in New York, Hong Kong, and Miami. Alejandra joined Kirchhoff & Associates in 2020 to continue working on her true passion, residential architecture.

Catalina Gomez

Originally from Bogota, Columbia, Catalina Gomez earned graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with a degree in Architecture. A licensed architect, Catalina is also a member of the Society of Colombian Architects (SCA). She has been with Kirchhoff & Associates since 2023.
